Solnet welcomes Gagandeep Singh, Test Automation Specialist

Gagandeep Singh, Test Automation Specialist, recently joined Solnet as part of the Enterprise Support team, based in Wellington. He will help Solnet clients by delivering test automation for new projects and automating test cases for existing systems.

Automated testing (built into DevOps pipelines wherever possible) has the business benefit of increasing the speed and reliability of software releases and improving the overall quality of the business systems that enterprises rely on. 

Gagandeep is passionate about automation. His role at Solnet will see him delivering the automation of functional, performance, load, and security testing. Tools that he’ll be using include Cypress, Cucumber, and Selenium.

“Automation is fascinating to me because of the pain it takes away. It saves time and effort for everyone”, says Gagandeep. “I spend my time making testing easier, which makes the development process easier, and it’s a critical part of DevOps pipeline”.

Outside of work, Gagandeep loves exploring New Zealand and spending time with his family. He enjoys a good game of chess and stays active participating in cricket, soccer, and cycling.
